Abstract

Mr. Botobota lives a leisurely life in a house on the outskirts of town. One day, a little tail named Poppo shows up. Poppo was originally attached to Mr. Botobota's butt, but Mr. Botobota didn't realize that he had left it behind when he went to town. The two begin a happy life together.

Author’s Information

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Painting, majoring in printmaking. After working as a 3D designer at a game company, he became a freelance designer and has produced numerous illustrations, copperplate prints, animations, and more. He won the Special Jury Prize in the Picture Book category of the 10th Takeo Takeo Memorial Japanese Children's Art Award for "Bonbon in the Vacuum Cleaner." His Spanish picture books include "El puente del rey" (text by Jose Sanabria / published by Editorial El Ateneo). He won third place in the Newcomer Award at the 17th MOE Picture Book Store Awards 2024 for his Japanese picture book "Bonbon in the Vacuum Cleaner" (Froebel-kan).
