Abstract

This book uses case studies and other methods to clarify the specific accounting procedures used in the Amoeba Management System and how the motivation of organizational members is stimulated.

Takeo Watanabe is a professor in the Faculty of Commerce at Chuo University. He also serves as a managing director of the Japan Management Accounting Association, a research director of the Japan Accounting Research Association, and the head of the preparatory office for the (tentative name) Faculty of Sports Information at Chuo University. His publications include "Organizational Culture and Management Accounting Systems" (co-authored, 2006) and "A Retrospective and Outlook on Cost Accounting Systems" (co-authored, 2014) (both published by Chuo University Press).
