Author’s Information
Born in Sumida Ward, Tokyo in July 1966. After graduating from junior college, she married a ward council member. As a housewife, she was busy raising children, but when her husband fell ill at the age of 39, she looked for work to support the family. She got a job at an apparel shop in Shibuya 109. By making small improvements, she doubled the sales. After working there for five years, she opened an izakaya (Japanese pub) in Shinbashi, Tokyo in 2011. It quickly became a popular restaurant where reservations were impossible to get. While caring for her husband, she opened a second restaurant the following year. Recognized by regular customers, she changed jobs in 2017 to become the new product development manager for Dom Dom Burger. She made the "Thick-Cut Egg Burger" a hit and became president in just nine months. She has appeared on TV Asahi's "Gekirea-san wo Tsurete Kita" and TV Tokyo's "Gaia no Yoake," among others.
