Born in 1974 in Yamanashi Prefecture. His self-published novel “Akai Sekigan” (The Red One-Eye) caught the attention of a publisher and, after extensive revisions, was published in 2004 as “Psychic Detective Yakumo: The Red Eyes Know.” “Psychic Detective Yakumo” went on to become a massive blockbuster series.

He has authored numerous other hits, including the “Phantom Thief Yamaneko” series and the “Ukumo Shinrei Kitan” (Ukumo Psychic Tales) series. The total sales of all his published works have surpassed 10 million copies.
