Abstract
Even when you're busy, don't give up on getting enough sleep!
Do you have any idea what it might be?
●Work, housework, childcare, caring for elderly parents... I have too many responsibilities, and sleep is always put on the back burner. ●Using my smartphone before bed is my only time to myself. ●As I get older, my sleep has become lighter, and I wake up more often in the middle of the night. ●I have trouble falling asleep, so I've made it a habit to drink alcohol before bed. ●I feel tired in the morning even though I "should" be sleeping. ●I put sleep on the back burner during the week and make up for it on the weekend. ●I rely on bedding and supplements, but I don't really feel like they're working. If even one of these applies to you, be careful. Your sleep may not be "designed to allow for recovery."
This book is a guide to good sleep habits created for busy working adults and those who support their families.
If you can't dedicate time to self-management, is living your ideal life impossible?
With this in mind, I propose an approach to restructuring the entire daily routine from a sleep perspective, for the "too-busy generation" who have been cutting back on sleep or trying to improve the quality of their short sleep.
