Abstract

The photography book closely looks at a year of Ezo chipmunks living in Daisetsuzan,the volcanic group of peaks full of alpine plants in Hokkaido. The book not only gives details of the animal's lives and childbearings but thinks the relationship between plants and wild animals.

Author’s Information

Kei Sato is a photographer who lives in Rumoi city, Hokkaido, Japan. He takes photographs of natural scenery and wild animals. He now focuses on alpine plants and animals one can see in Daisetsuzan. He is an advisor of the French outdoor equipment manufacturer Millet.
