Abstract
A century-old mansion catches fire, and the owner and his wife die. He is left with his twenty-seven-year-old daughter, Fumi Aokawa, who has lost her memory due to the fire, and the venerable (Japanese‐style) restaurant, Gin no Nishintei. Her nephew Hikaru, at the request of his mother, who is worried about his sister, moves in with his beautiful aunt. And together with Fumi, they will greet the customers at the reopened restaurant. Then, a detective appears before Hikaru with questions about the fire. This is the author's first work for Kobunsha Collection.
Author’s Information
He was born in Hokkaido, Japan. After working for an advertising production company, he began writing, and in 2003 won the 29th Mephisto Award for "Sora wo miageru furui utawo kuchizusamu(Look Up at the Sky, Humming an Old Song)," and became a writer.
