Abstract

I’m Colum Matsuda. I’m in the fifth grade and my parents run a traditional Japanese cracker store on the west side of Tokyo, which has been the family business for generations. It turned out that I was being transferred to a different school this spring. I was told that my grandpa, who had casually walked out and disappeared, had signed me up for this school. The school was totally different from my previous one. It seemed to be a school for training and supporting explorers-to-be. Children from around the world gathered which was exciting, too. The whole atmosphere was dissimilar but I was finally getting used to everything when our teacher gave us a surprising assignment. This book is the first volume of a new series.
