Abstract
The principal of Kaisei, the school with the highest number of students admitted to Tokyo University in Japan, shares the secret to developing boys' abilities. The author, who has served as a teacher at Harvard and Tokyo University, and ran a cram school while a graduate student at Tokyo University, has been actively involved in raising his two sons. The important milestones in raising boys are ages 3 and 10. If a mother takes good care of them up until age 10, they will develop easily from then on. The most important thing, which is the foundation of everything, is to "get your child to talk." This book answers the concerns of all mothers, including mothers who are confused by boys' unique behavior, mothers who are worried about how to interact with their sons because they are busy with work, and mothers who want their sons to take the entrance exam for a junior high and high school.
