Atsuko Asano
Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1954. Winner of the Noma Children's Literature Award for "Battery," the Japan Children's Literature Association Award for "Battery 2," and the Shogakukan Children's Publishing Culture Award for the "Battery" series, and in 2011, the 18th Shimasei Love Literature Award for "Tamayura. His works cover a wide range of genres, from children's literature to general literature, historical novels, and sports novels (This data was published at the time this book was published.)
