Abstract

Natsu, a sixth grader, was sent to live with her father's family. She is separated from her parents in a vast old mansion. She has a cranky grandfather and a nagging great-aunt. Moreover, there is an ominous legend about a "one ear rabbit". Sayuri, a dependable ninth grader, is only excited when she hears about the hidden staircase and hidden room, but the adventures of the two girls bring a refreshing new twist to the mansion mystery.
