Abstract
Popular Book Reviewer Yumi Toyozaki's Hilarious First Essay Collection!
From her elementary school days, where she would stand up in class, to challenging boys to chicken races by riding her bike hands-free down slopes, and getting lost in snowball fights. During her youth, she was deeply immersed in subculture and gambling, writing articles for adult magazines to make ends meet. This collection is filled with anecdotes that will make you burst out laughing.
It also includes heartwarming stories about her mentor Saburo Kawamoto and her beloved aibo. Additionally, she shares her thoughts on her work as a book reviewer and her views on literary awards. Each episode introduces notable books, making this a delightful book guide as well.
Recommended by Kaori Ekuni, Yoko Hiramatsu, and Hideo Furukawa!
