The setting of "SEX" was first revealed along with its shocking title in the 1987 mook "Shonen Sunday Graphic Special -To-y-".

Not only has it captivated readers, but it has also crossed the boundaries between genres such as music, film, art, and anime, and continues to influence many creators to this day.

This new edition is a complete version (4 volumes) commemorating the 30th anniversary of the series' creation. It includes newly drawn cover illustrations for each volume, as well as a reproduction of the four-color manuscript from when it was serialized in Young Sunday. It also includes a special edition of "Sex," which was released in only two volumes over 20 years ago.
The book's greatest feature, the lavish color accents used in the main text, will be applied to every volume. It will also include illustrations that Kamijo himself has personally selected and refined, as well as rare sketches that were not included in the "1983 SINCE" art book.

Author’s Information

Born in Tokyo in 1963. He made his debut in 1983 with "Mop Hunter" in the "Shonen Sunday Special Edition." Since 1985, "To-y" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." His sharp illustrations and unique, sharp sense have earned him the support of many fans. His representative works include "SEX," "Red x Black," and "8-Eight." In September 2024, an exhibition will be held at the Yayoi Museum in Tokyo to commemorate the 40th anniversary of his debut.
