Continuing from last year, in this year’s Japan Book Bank Frankfurt Feature we are introducing recommended books, provide website demonstration, and guidance to ID registration.

Japanese Publishing Promotion Project (JPPP), supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and Japan Book Bank (JBB) are jointly setting up a stand at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2022, within JAPAN BOOTH!

We present translated samples and proposals / synopses in English of Japanese books aiming to be translated and published overseas. You are also able to purchase Japanese versions of the exhibited sample books online at the spot!

Ms.Chisako Wakatake, the first Japanese female author to ever win the LiBeraturpreis, along with distinguished guests of Cass Verlag joins us LIVE to share the story behind the award-winning work Ora-ora de Hitori Igumo (Jeder geht für sich allein - Cass Verlag, 2021 / Kawade Shobo Shinsha, 2017).
