Shinonome, a ghost who runs the only bookstore in another world , is Kaori’s foster father. Being conscious of the existence of Suimei, who is released from the negative chain of the exorcist clan, Kaori runs back and forth between another world and the real world to help ghosts who want to read books. One day, Shinonome disappears from Kaori, acting as if he is hiding something! ?
Kaori is always confused by the improper behavior of her foster father. His destination seems to be related to Tamaki, an old friend of Shinonome who runs a dubious occupation called a "Monogatari-ya."
